The White Township Planning Commission met last night and approved a final minor subdivision for the Windy Ridge Business Park.
The final minor subdivision has as its proposal the elimination of a cul-de-sac on the property and the re-arranging of site sizes. While it may be a small step, it could be seen as a large step forward in the process of attracting a major client to the business park.
The county office of Planning and Development has been working on attracting a major assembly and distribution plant to the park since February of this year. Since then, several steps have been taken to make the property more attractive to potential businesses, including a loan from the County Revolving Loan fund in March for the purchase of land at Windy Ridge by the Indiana County Development Corporation.
