While many of the roads that PennDOT closed due to flood conditions have re-opened, two roads in Indiana County remain closed as of this morning.
Sebring Road between Purchase Line Road in Green Township and Route 286 in Montgomery Township remains closed this morning due to flood-related issues. Elder Ridge Road between Route 286 and Nowrytown Road also remains closed at this time. That road was closed due to downed utilities.
PennDOT continues to remind motorists to “turn around, don’t drown” if they come across flooded roadways, as it only takes two feet of fast running water to float a car. PennDOT also advises people to check 511PA.com, the 511PA app or call 511 before you go to get the latest traffic conditions.
