Four fire departments were summoned to Downtown Blairsville for a small fire in an apartment complex on Sunday.
The fire was initially reported at an apartment complex on West Market Street at 4:39 PM. Blairsville Fire Department media representative Ab Detorre said that the fire was behind a stove in one of the apartments, and it was knocked down quickly. Blairsville firefighters were assisted by Blacklick, Coral-Graceton and Homer City firefighters on the scene, along with Citizen’s Ambulance and Blairsville Borough Police.
No word yet on the cause of the fire or how much damage was done.
