State police have not issued an arrest report on a man accused of walking through freshly-poured cement at the Newport Road bridge construction site in Black Lick Township, but they do say they have identified him.
The incident happened in late July. The man walked through the new cement and on the way back, laid down boards and walked on top of them. He left footprints and board impressions in the cement, and the damage was not discovered for about a week because the cement had been covered. Police released pictures of the suspect walking at the construction site and asked for the public’s help in identifying him.
In a news release yesterday, police simply said, “The suspect shown in the previously-provided surveillance images has been identified and no further assistance is needed.”
