CECIL GOSS, 83

Cecil E. Goss, 83, of Punxsutawney, PA, and formerly of Ft. Myers & Port Charlotte, FL; Coeur d’Alene, ID and Canton OH, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Punxsutawney Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA.
The son of Edward C. and Alda M. (Stewart) Goss, he was born on February 10, 1935 in East Run, Indiana Co., PA.
Cecil worked as a contractor in the home construction business for many years. He was a member of the American Legion in Port Charlotte, FL and enjoyed his time there coordinating activities.
He is survived by his five children: Rick Goss of Clarksville,TN; Debra Anderson of Grand Island, NY; Kimberly Minudo of Batavia, NY; David Goss of Lancaster, NY and Signa Gundlach of Las Vegas, NV; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren and his longtime companion: Patricia Pepperman of Punxsutawney, PA.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers: Paul Goss; Bernon Goss; Dewey “Buck” Goss and Ernest Goss; and his three sisters: Dorothy Bingaman; Vivian Wright and Shelvy Jean Moore.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd., in Hillsdale, PA from 5 until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
