After two dormant weeks, the Pirates offense finally woke up Saturday night in Milwaukee as the Bucs snapped a four-game losing streak with a 9-1 win over the Brewers. Jameson Taillon gave up one run and five hits in six innings to earn his 10th win and Adam Frazier hit a three-run home run. Colin Moran was 4-for-5 for the Pirates, who look to win the series this afternoon with Chris Archer on the mound.

The Altoona Curve swept a doubleheader from Richmond and clinched an Eastern League playoff berth. James Marvel threw a seven-inning complete game for a 9-2 win in the first game and Scooter Hightower threw six shutout innings to lead the way to a 3-0 win in the nightcap.
The Steelers beat Tennessee 16-6 in preseason football, with Ben Roethlisberger seeing his first game action and completing 11 of 18 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown.
