Next weekend, many will take to the roads for one last summer vacation, and state police will be out in full force to make sure that people are driving safely.
The Indiana Barracks of the state police will have a sobriety checkpoint in place during the Labor Day Holiday weekend, along with other roving/mobile enforcement details throughout the rest of the month.
Motorists are reminded that driving under the influence isn’t worth it. Along with risking a major crash that could result in death or serious injuries, you could face jail time, hefty fines, and suspension of your license.
