Marianne R. Proch, age 92, of Indiana, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Communities at Indian Haven.
She was born in 1925 in Pittsburgh to Lawrence J. and Elvina E. Ball Schwilm.
Mrs. Proch was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of American Ct. #339. Marianne was very devoted to her faith.
She enjoyed knitting, cake decorating, crossword puzzles, crocheting, needlepoint, tatting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Marianne is survived by four sons and two daughters – Steven and wife Amanda, Gouldsboro; Kenneth and wife Kathleen, Indiana; Maribeth Evans, Wheaton, MD; Judy Mitchell, Chesapeake, VA; Martin and wife Gail, Richmond, VA; Michael and wife Melissa, Greensburg; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one sister Catherine Shock, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Proch in 1995, her sister Elvina McLeod, and her great grandson Demetrio Saleski.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where the CD of A will pray the Rosary. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
