Richard Stanley Antolik, 75, Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home.
The son of Edward P. and Helen (Parchuke) Antolik, he was born May 25, 1943 in Derry Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA.
Mr. Antolik graduated from Derry High School, Class of 1961 and was a veteran of the Army.
He was a member of St. Martin Roman Catholic Church, New Derry.
Prior to his retirement in 2008, he worked as a machinist for Kennametal, Latrobe.
He was a good carpenter, enjoyed fixing stuff, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Faye E. (Nicholson) Antolik whom he married March 19, 1966; son, Richard Troy (Tina) Antolik of Blairsville; two daughters, Samantha J. (Robert) Kahl of Blairsville and Michele (Jim) Trout of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Katelin (Andrew) Antolik-Nowak, Wade Antolik, Courtney Kahl, Ryan Brody, Taylor Trout and Carter Trout; two great grandchildren, Holden Antolik and Mason Brody; and a brother, Michael Antolik of Irving, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ang Antolik and Edward Antolik and a sister, Tet Horton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday at St. Martin Roman Catholic Church, New Derry, with Fr. Salvatore R. Lamendola celebrant.
Interment will be SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
Military services will be accorded by Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion Post #0407.
