Indiana borough police have charged two people with several crimes in connection with a traffic stop on Sunday evening.
Police say they pulled over a car that had 37-year-old Steven Harris of Johnstown and 44-year-old Tashua McCrommon of Braddock on North 5th Street. During the traffic stop, police found a small amount of marijuana in the car. Harris gave officers a fake name. When he was finally identified, police found out that Harris was wanted in Cambria County, as he had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Harris was arraigned on possession of a small amount of marijuana, obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence and false identification to law enforcement and is awaiting extradition back to Cambria County in the Indiana County Jail. McCrommon, who was driving at the time, faces a marijuana possession charge along with a traffic offense.
