The Windy Ridge Business and Technology Park in White Township will receive some state funding to help with infrastructure improvements.
The money comes from the State Department of Community and Economic Development. DCED secretary Dennis Davin announced in a news release that the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development will receive $1,734,745 for the park along Route 422, and this is the final phase of infrastructure improvements for the business park. The money will go to help fund the required offsite mitigations at the intersection of Indian Springs Road and Rustic Lodge Road related to Windy Ridge’s development to attract new private sector capital investment and jobs to the county, that according to Byron Stauffer of the county office of planning and development.
The funds came from the Transportation Infrastructure Improvement Funds program, which is co-administered by the DCED and PennDOT.
