A man running for U.S. Senate made a stop in Indiana County yesterday to talk with some area residents.
Congressman Lou Barletta made a campaign stop in Blairsville to tour Kencove farm fence supplies and meet with residents at a nearby fast food restaurant. Barletta talked about some of the concerns he’s heard on the campaign trail, which include some dissatisfaction with his opponent, Senator Bob Casey, and that he has not been visible.
Barletta also talked about how important the smaller communities can be. He said that he took the small town values he grew up with and used as the mayor of Hazleton and used them well as a congressman and would use them again as a Senator.
The tour continued on to Huntingdon County yesterday after their stop in Blairsville.
