PennDOT says a paving project will affect traffic starting on Monday in Cherryhill and Pine townships.
Expect congestion and delays on Route 553 between routes 422 and 403 as workers first mill and patch the road and then lay down a fresh coat of asphalt. The work will also include minor drainage, guiderail updates, and other construction. There will be daylight, flagger-controlled lane restrictions throughout the project.
It’s a nearly $1.8 million project that is expected to be completed in October.
