Things got tense for the Altoona Curve last night when they surrendered five runs in the 9th innings against Trenton. But the Curve held on for a 9-7 win. Cole Tucker broke out of his slump with a 3-4 night. Bryan Reynolds was 3-for-6, and Logan Hill was 2-for-5 with a double and home run # 14. He drove in four runs. Eduardo Vera got the win.
The Curve are now ten games over .500 at 61-51. They’ll return to Altoona tonight to start a three-game series with Erie. Right-hander James Marvel makes his Double-A debut after being promoted this week from Bradenton.
