MATIE FERRETTI, 91

Mattie Geraldine (Kelly) Ferretti. 91, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her home.
The daughter of Joseph L. Kelly and Myrtle P. (Elwood) Kelly, she was born January 13, 1927 in Kiski Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA.
Mrs. Ferretti lived most of her life in Blairsville and graduated from Blairsville High School with the Class of 1944.
She had worked at Federal Laboratories, Tunnelton, and retired from Torrance State Hospital as an aide.
Surviving are her husband of 73, James A. Ferretti, Sr. whom she married July 8, 1945; daughter, Dorothy (Thomas) Walkinshaw of Valrico, FL; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a sister, Dora B. Kelly, Blairsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James A. Ferretti, Jr. in 2014 and a daughter, Deborah Ackerman in 2005.
As per Mrs. Ferretti’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
Private interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
