Altoona lost to Trenton, 2-1 yesterday. The Curve’s Dario Algrazal gave up two runs in the sixth inning and Trenton made it stand up. Altoona’s Tyler Gaffney drove home a run with a single in the 8th, but with the bases loaded and one out, Ke’Bryan Hayes lined out to the second baseman and Cole Tucker was caught off first for an inning-ending double play. The Curve’s Bryan Reynolds and Will Craig led off the 9th with singles, but a strikeout and game-ending double play ended the rally.
The two teams will wrap up their series tonight in Trenton, with Eduardo Vera on the mound for the Curve.
