The NHL Network has released annual ranking of the top centers in hockey, and for the second straight year, Edmonton’s Conor McDavid tops Sidney Crosby.
McDavid has won the last two scoring titles, which was evidently enough to sway the vote despite his not having Crosby’s all-around game. Crosby is rated the second-best center and Evgeni Malkin is third. Then come Toronto’s Auston Matthews and Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon.
