The results of a survey done by the Children’s Advisory Commission of Indiana County and the County department of human services will be made available to the public through a series of public meetings.
The “Indiana County Speaks Up” survey was completed between November of 2017 and February 2018, and questions on the survey included the topics of quality of life, health care, employment, jobs, childcare, emergency prep, and drugs and alcohol among others. This marks the first time that the results of this survey will be released to the public in this format.
The results will be announced at four different locations in the County. The first will be in Clymer’s on August 15th at 2:00 PM, at the social room at Tall Pines Terrance. The second was set for Chestnut Ridge Terrace at 2:00 PM in Blairsville on the 16th. A third date is set for August 22nd at 2:00 at Rossiter fire hall, then a night meeting at the dept. of human services offices in the career link at 6 PM.
You can pre-register by calling 724-463-8200 ext. 3.
Lisa Spencer, Maureen Pounds and Kathy Abbey Baker will be on Indiana in the Morning on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM tomorrow morning starting at 7:45 to discuss the survey.
