Police reports include public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, the theft of medication, and a man who exposed himself to outdoor cafe patrons.
A Marion Center man was jailed for public drunkenness, with more charges to follow after an incident Saturday at the Clymer Laundromat in Clymer Borough. State police say 44-year-old Lee Blystone was highly intoxicated when he suddenly began throwing things around the Laundromat, eventually breaking the glass on an entry door. He also tore the door off a washing machine. He was taken into custody and placed in the Indiana County Jail.
Police are investigating the theft of medication from Lucernemines woman. Sometime between last Tuesday and Friday, a thief stole 59 one-milligram Clonazepam pills from their bottle at the home along Third Street.
Indiana Borough Police are searching for a man who exposed himself to patrons at an outside cafe Saturday night. It happened at 10 PM in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street. The suspect is described as a white male in his fifties or sixties, about 5’5″ tall and thin, with no teeth, salt-and-pepper long hair, and scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a bandana, a blue t-shirt, shorts, and was last seen fleeing eastward in a silver Toyota sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 349-2121.
Police had been in that same block a couple of hours earlier, taking into custody David Wright of Washington, PA, who was highly intoxicated and screaming profanities. As police were talking to him, he continued to yell and scream. He was jailed on a temporary detainer and later charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
