The start of the 2018 High School Football Season is just 20 days away and yesterday coaches and players from the Heritage and WestPAC Conferences gathered at Portage High School for a joint media day, which was sponsored by First Commonwealth Bank. First Commonwealth Bank will also again sponsor the annual Appalachian Bowl which pits the two conference champions against one another in week 10 of the season. Chris Adams from First Commonwealth Bank talked about the bank’s commitment to the conference and high school football, saying that the company knows that the “Friday Night Lights” culture of High School Football is important to many people in this region.
