Four games were played in Homer City yesterday as the Pa. Youth Legion Western Regional Baseball Tournament.
Young Township eliminated Punxsutawney, 4-0, while Monroeville topped Marion Center, 12-2, in a five-inning, 10-run rule game.
In other games, Corry knocked out Rockwood, 12-10, while Millcreek topped Murrysville, 6-2, in a winner’s bracket game.
Three games are on tap today, with Corry meeting Murrysville at 2 p.m., with the two Indiana County teams, Young Township and Marion Center, squaring off at 5 p.m. Pregame for the local game is at 4:45 p.m. on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
The final game of the day features the two undefeated teams, Millcreek and Monroeville, colliding at 7:30 p.m.
