This evening, foodies will hit the streets of Downtown Indiana as part of the annual Taste and Tour.
Fifteen Indiana-area restaurants will offer some of their best food for sampling. Participants will start at IRMC Park at 5:00 tonight when they register, and sampling will go from 5:30 to 8:30, with prizes and awards handed out at 9:00 when all the votes are tallied. In prior years, awards were handed out for individual categories, but as Linda Mitchell with Downtown Indiana said, this year it’s one award, winner takes all.
There will also be live music from Franky Johnson and prizes will also be available for participants. Tickets are still available for the event at the 700 shop, the 7th Street Marketry, the Indiana County Tourist Bureau, or you can call the Downtown Indiana office at 724-463-6110. Tickets cost $30.
