GREEN TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a burglary last weekend at Smith’s Sales & Service, along Route 286 in Green Township.
It happened between 5:30 PM on Friday and 8:30 the next morning. Someone forcibly entered the store and stole about one hundred dollars and a stainless steel Smith & Wesson .357 magnum revolver. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 357-1960.
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
An Allegheny County man has been accused of making a false accusation against a Robinson woman, and police say it’s the second time he’s done it. State police say 36-year-old Paul Lutz of Braddock contacted them and said the woman was intentionally cutting herself at her home. They investigated and said the guy’s story didn’t check out. Lutz is charged with harassment.
