An Indiana woman has been sentenced in federal court to serve one day in prison, six months of community confinement, and six months of home confinement for her guilty plea to embezzling from her employer, First Commonwealth Bank.
37-year-old Madeline Isenberg was an assistant manager at the bank and admitted to stealing about $88,000 from customers’ accounts between February of 2012 and August of 2015. The bank reimbursed the customers when the thefts were discovered.
Last October, Isenberg pleaded guilty to a single charge of embezzling from a federally insured bank. Her sentence was imposed on Friday by U.S. District Judge David Cercone.
