The Pittsburgh Pirates are on the verge of a five-game series sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers after taking both halves of a double-header yesterday.
In game one, the Pirates won 2-1 over the Brewers on the strength of back-to-back solo home runs from Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco. The Brewers lone run came from Christian Yellich, who hit an RBI single that scored Keon Braxton.
In game two, the Pirates 6-2 victory was powered by homers from Max Moroff and another pair of back-to-back solo homers from Marte and Polanco. Jordan Luplo had 2 homers in the game. Dave Friese had an RBI single.
The Pirates and Brewers wrap up the five game series today. Joe Musgrove will start for the Bucs this afternoon, and you can hear the game starting at 12:35 with the Neal Huntingdon Show on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
