The Indiana School Board has called a special meeting for Monday, and on the short agenda will be the hiring of a new assistant superintendent.
A draft agenda for the meeting on Monday shows that a contract for a new assistant superintendent will be approved, but the district has not announced any details on the new hiring, including the name of the candidate. The new hire will take the place of Jeffrey Boyer, who resigned last month to take a Superintendent’s position with the Antietam school district near Reading. At their meeting earlier this week, the board approved posting the position of assistant superintendent internally as part of efforts to put a new assistant superintendent in place quickly.
Also on the agenda for Monday’s meeting is a contract to pave the East Pike Elementary School Parking Lot, and discussion on Elementary Classroom sizes. The special meeting will be held Monday at 6:00 PM.
