Non-profit organizations interested in applying for grants through the United Way have a week to do so.
Next Friday, July 20th, will be the final day for applications to be accepted for the United Way of Indiana County’s grant program. Money will go to non-profit groups that “demonstrate a solid programmatic plan for meeting critical human needs in Indiana County.” Eight such grants were provided by the United Way in 2017, and the grants were utilized for services that included education initiatives, anti-bullying programs, after school activities, and other programs.
Applications can be obtained by calling the United Way of Indiana County at 724-463-0277 or visiting uwindianacounty.org. Applications are only being accepted in electronic form.
