Nick Kingham hit the go-ahead,two-run double and pitched six solid innings, as the Pirates stopped a five-game slide with a 4-1 win over the Phillies Sunday afternoon.
Josh Bell added an RBI double and Josh Harrison an RBI single, with Felipe Vazquez picking up the save.
Vazquez was also named to the National League All Star Team yesterday. He is the only Bucco named.
The Bucs are back on the field tonight, playing host to the Washington Nationals, with Ivan Nova getting the start. Pregame begins at 6:40 p.m. on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
