Down in the minors, the Altoona Curve beat the Trenton Thunder 3-1 to win game 3 of the five game series between the two teams.
The Curve scored all their runs in the bottom of the seventh as Brian Reynolds hit an RBI single to score Jordan George, Christian Kelly hitting an RBI Triple to score Reynolds, and Logan Hill hitting a single to score Kelly. Geoff Hartlieb got the win for the Curve in Relief. Starter Taylor Hearn got the no-decision, but struck out seven and allowed one run on three hits. The two teams resume their five-game series today in Altoona.
