Akron held Altoona to just two hits and the Rubberducks blanked the Curve, 3-0, last night, wrapping up the five-game series.
The Curve opens another five-game series at home tonight, playing host to the Trenton Thunder at 7 p.m.
Also, Curve first baseman Will Craig will participate in the Home Run Derby next Tuesday in Trenton, New Jersey.
