Center Township Supervisors addressed concerns about a duplex on Coy Street.
The matter had been brought up at several prior meetings as Pamela Burnheimer said that one half of the duplex had dangerous mold growing inside it, and asked the township supervisors to go inside and force the owner to make some repairs. After discussing the matter with the township solicitor, Chairman David “Butch” Smyers said that they can’t do anything about the inside of the house, but warnings have been posted by code enforcement officers concerning the house. Smyers also offered the Burnheimers a chance to talk with the township solicitor at the township’s expense to get some legal advice.
In other business, the supervisors gave their approval to the Becks to construct a bus stop in the Aultman area. That bus stop will be near the Aultman fire hall and will be for kids to wait in for the school bus, and will protect them from the elements.
