We are now in the month of July, but the recent June weather isn’t going away any time soon.
The National Weather Service says we’re in for another very hot week, with temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s for the next week. The heat index will be in the low 100s each day of the coming week, with the air temperatures not dropping to the lower-to-mid 80s until Friday and Saturday. There will be a chance of pop-up thunderstorms on several days.
The heat advisory comes with a request that you check on our neighbors to be sure they are all right, especially if they do not have air conditioning.
