Two people were injured in a crash on Route 422 yesterday morning in Armstrong Township. State Police say that 44-year-old Lisa Shaffer of Indiana was driving on Five Points Road and had stopped to turn left onto Route 422 eastbound, and pulled out into the path of 26-year-old Cory Dixon of Homer City, who was driving west on 422. Both drivers had suspected minor injuries and were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment. Both vehicles had to be towed.
A traffic stop lead to a drug bust in Indiana Borough. State Police say that Jason Robinson of Brush Valley was stopped in the 200 block of North 4th Street on June 15th at 11:14 PM on a traffic violation, and police discovered a small amount of marijuana on Robinson’s person. Investigation is continuing in this case.
Police are investigating a case of theft and criminal mischief in Brush Valley Township. Police say that sometime on June 27th or 28th, someone went onto the farm of Jason Bowers in Bolivar and cut wires on a farm tractor and took some tools.
