White Township Supervisors heard from residents last night who are having water-related problems.
Residents in the Miller Avenue area near Chevy Chase claimed that rainwater from the recent storms has been flooding basements and causing problems for residents. Dan Ross, a resident said that there’s also a sinkhole in his backyard that gets worse with heavy rainfalls. Ross said that the problems are easy to see when a strong rain comes through, and in his opinion, the system looks like it needs some maintenance.
White Township Manager Milt Lady said that they will look into the matter to see how they can help.
In other business, Lady announced that a 2008 F550 dump truck was sold via online auction to Steve Carbonara of Strasburg.
