William Clarence Patterson, 78, of Glen Campbell, PA died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.
The son of Clarence and Maggie (Patterson) Patterson, he was born on May 30, 1940 in Spangler, Pa.
William retired from the Purchase Line School District, where he worked as a custodian at the high school and north elementary. One of his favorite interests was hunting.
He married Madge C. (Frampton) Patterson on May 31, 1969 and they shared over 49 years together.
William is survived by his wife, Madge of Glen Campbell, PA; his four children: Cathy Brooks and husband, Marty of Rossiter, PA; Terry Patterson and wife, Crissy of Punxsutawney, PA; Carl Patterson and Diane Patterson, both of Glen Campbell, PA; his three grandchildren: Cassidy Patterson, Hayden Clutter and Carl Patterson and his sister: Connie Wilshire and husband, George of Cherry Tree, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother.
Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 2-4:00 p.m. and from 7-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. There will not be a funeral service.
