Homer City Fire Department was called out after a child was accidentally locked into their vehicle.
The call came out after 6 PM on Tuesday in the area of Waterman in Center Township. The car had both two-year-old Daisy McCaney of Waterman and her five-year-old sister at the time, and the five-year-old accidentally locked the doors with the keys inside as their grandmother, Brenda Friedline was outside the car. When a second set of keys could not be located, the fire department was called in.
Friedline said that she was grateful for the quick action from the Homer City Fire Department.
No one was hurt and Daisy did not need to be taken to the hospital.
