Some roadwork that starts today will affect traffic in two townships.
Center Township Supervisor David “Butch” Smyers announced that Brown Road will be closed between Route 286 and Warren Road Monday through Thursday over the next two weeks from 7 AM to 8 PM each day. This will be for water line replacement going on in the area. Traffic is expected to be affected in both White and Center Townships, so you may see some delays in the area.
Local and residential traffic in that area will be able to get to where they need to go, and local emergency services have also been notified of the closure.
