State police report the assault of two Corrections Officers at the state correctional facility in White Township on Thursday. 18-year-old Jamir Hill is accused of several counts of assault after a physical confrontation with the officers at SCI Pine Grove around 5:45 PM. Further court action is pending.
Indiana borough police report an Indiana man was found lying on the sidewalk intoxicated early Saturday morning. Police responded to the 400 block of South 4th Street at 3:37 where they found 34-year-old David Green. Green was cited for public drunkenness and released later to a sober adult.
