IUP'S PEGUES, CIGNETTI HONORED; SPRINTER WINS IN PUERTO RICO

Walt Pegues and Natalie Cignetti have been named the Scholar Athletes of the Year for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom, and former IUP sprinter Julius Rivera recently won the 100 meters event at the national championships in Puerto Rico with a time of 10.66 in the male 20-plus division.
