Members of the public will get the chance to take part in discussions on a draft transportation improvement plan, or TIP next week.
On Wednesday, May 30th, the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development along with the county Public Participation Panel, the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, and PennDOT will host the open-house style meeting to learn more about the draft TIP and affilitated documents. This will give citizens the chance to look at maps; talk to representatives from the SPC and PennDOT, transit operators, and planning departments; ask questions and most importantly; submit comments on the plan.
The meeting will be held May 30th at 3:00 PM at the Offices of PA Careerlink on Indian Springs Road. If you can’t make it to the meeting, you can log on to www.spcregion.org to fill out a form to submit your comments.
