Indiana County emergency responders have been busy since Saturday afternoon.
Among the incidents reported are an accident on Route 110 in Rayne Township, to which Creekside firefighters were summoned.
Coal Run and Iselin firefighters were summoned Saturday afternoon for a physical rescue along Aultman’s Run Road in Young Township, and minutes later, they called for a landing zone to be set up on Saltsburg Road.
Elderton firefighters were dispatched for a tree and wires down on North Ridge Road in Armstrong Township.
Brush Valley and Homer City were called to a rubbish pile on fire at an address along Snyder Road in Brush Valley Township, and within an hour, Cherryhill Township responded for a foam truck and tanker assist, with Black Lick and Coral-Graceton placed on standby.
Also Saturday night, Indiana firefighters were dispatched for smoke in a structure along Merry Place in White Township.
