The Homer-Center Wildcats host Claysburg-Kimmel today at 4 o’clock, in a District 6 semi-final game at First Commonwealth Bank Field.
Homer Center, the No. 1 seed, is 17-1 after its 3-0 win over Bishop Carroll Tuesday afternoon. Claysburg, 8-6 and the No. 4 seed, defeated Saltsburg, 13-3, on Tuesday.
The winner advances to the District 6 Championship against the Juniata Valley-Saint Joseph’s winner next Wednesday or Thursday. The pregame begins at 3:45 p.m. today on WCCS AM 1160, FM 101.1 and WCCS streaming on the Trib Live High School Sports Network.
Yesterday, Southern Huntingdon topped Northern Cambria, 12-2, while Bald Eagle, a No. 7 seed, ousted No. 2 seed West Shamokin, 9-3.
