After a lengthy rain delay, the Pirates beat the San Francisco Giants, 6-5 Saturday night. Gregory Polanco and Francisco Cervelli both homered, and Josh Bell scored the winning run in the 8th inning when former Pirate Tony Watson hit Jordy Mercer with a pitch with the bases loaded. The Bucs will go for the sweep Sunday at PNC Park with Ivan Nova getting the start.

The Steelers have signed second-round draft choice James Washington to a four-year rooking contract. He is the fourth draft choice to sign, leaving first-round choice Terrell Edmunds and the two third-rounders, Mason Rudolph and Chuks Okorafor, yet to sign.
