HOMER CITY
State police have filed a disorderly conduct charge against a Homer City man following an incident yesterday morning at the Homer Center Schools Administrative Offices.
Police say 58-year-old Joseph Silveri showed up at the offices shortly before 10:30 AM and – in their words – “created a hazardous or physically offensive condition” as he became irate and began yelling, disrupting the staff. Police list Superintendent Charles Koren as the victim.
INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough police are investigating a burglary at a home on South 6th Street on Saturday morning. Police say it happened at about 6:30 AM, with the thief making off with two X-Box Ones and their accessories. There is no description of the suspect.
In another incident, Indiana Borough police have charged William James of Philadelphia with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of justice early on Sunday morning in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street. Police say the charges are the result of James’ actions during an assault investigation.
