Michael Arthur Ammon, 67, of Ebensburg, PA passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.
The son of Edward W. and Dolores B. (Borbonus) Ammon, he was born February 3, 1951 in Indiana, PA.
He was an avid Steelers fan, loved dogs and stuffed animals and enjoyed his family visits.
Surviving are his mother, Dolores B. Ammon of Blairsville; sister, Kathleen M. Cardellino (Harry) of Blairsville; three brothers, Joseph P. Ammon of Blairsville; Richard L. Ammon of Blairsville and William R. Ammon (friend, Gina Baker) of Blairsville and a sister-in-law, Karen D. Ammon of Blairsville.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2004; sister, Jean M. Reott in 1999; brother, Robert J. Ammon in 2018 and a nephew, Kolton Asbury.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ebensburg Care Center for their loving care.
A private visitation will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a funeral service will be held with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay officiating.
Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
