MARION CENTER
State police are investigating an incident of terroristic threats which originated yesterday afternoon from within Marion Center High School.
Police say a 30-year-old Home woman received a phone call from a known 18-year-old male suspect. The call included a reference to a song with derogatory terms and acts of violence directed toward the woman. No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
Police say someone forcibly entered a home on Stormer Road in White Township between April 11th and yesterday. The vacant home had been foreclosed on and the owner is listed as Select Portfolio Servicing of West Valley City, Utah. Damage was minor.
CENTER TOWNSHIP
30-year-old Lindsey Sweigart of Derry is facing charges of public drunkenness and related offenses after appearing at Luther Ford Lincoln in Center Township Tuesday afternoon, “under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance” to the point where she was a danger to herself or others. Police say she was stumbling around the parking lot barefoot and disrupting business.
ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP
57-year-old Mark Staron of Indiana is charged with defiant trespass for entering a property at 3939 West Pike Road in Armstrong Township in violation of a certified letter barring him from the property. There were also “No Trespassing” signs posted at the property. The letter to Staron had been delivered last November.
