The Heritage Conference has decided it will not be able to play the Heritage Championship championship baseball game this year.
One factor is that District 6 moved up the playoffs to begin May 11 to align with availability of Blair County Ball Park. The first play date is the day immediately following what was the conference’s scheduled championship game. The conference is also concerned that conference teams may have a hard time getting all games played.
The champion will be determined by the team who accumulates the most victories in conference play.
The conference still intends to play the softball championship game at Northern Cambria on May 14. The District 6 softball playoffs have not moved up.
