The Altoona Curve lost to the Harrisburg Senators 2-1 in Harrisburg on Friday.
Altoona’s Christian Kelley got one of three hits on the day for the Curve, and it was a solo home run in the top of the third. It was a defensive battle, as hits were few and far between. In the 7th and 8th runs, Harrisburg were able to score a run apiece to take the lead. Curve starting pitcher Brandon Waddell went 6 and a thirds innings, giving up 1 run on two hits and striking out five. Yeudy Garcia is credited with the blown save.
The Curve and Senators play again today.
