The Indiana Area School Board will meet tonight, with a number of personnel items on the agenda, as well as consideration of motions for summer programs.
The board will consider a motion to authorize the Buildings, Grounds, & Transportation Committee to interview two architectural firms for design services for potential future projects. The directive would include but not be limited to modifying the office configurations at the Eisenhower and East Pike elementary schools, installing an elevator at the Horace Mann Elementary School, designing an accessible path to the middle wing at Ben Franklin Elementary School, and a proposal for a meaningful district-wide feasibility study option.
The committee would then be tasked with bringing to the board a proposed contract from the recommended firm.
The Marion Center School Board is also scheduled to meet tonight.
