PennDOT yesterday announced traffic restrictions scheduled for next week on Route 422 in Cherrhill and Pine townships.
Single-lane daytime and nighttime lane restrictions will begin on Monday for a $4.5 million resurfacing project, causing congestion and delays on 422 between North Harmony Road, which is just west of Pikes Peak Nursery, and Route 403 in Strongstown. Traffic backups will be especially evident during heavy volume periods.
The summer-long project will consist of milling, patching, paving, drainage, and new guiderails. The work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
